World Earth Day 2021
The last year has been an unprecedented time in mankind’s history, where human activity has been curtailed to such a point that this has allowed the planet time to heal and recover, and now we are benefiting from being able to hear birdsong again, notice air pollution levels falling and animals and plants reclaiming once polluted areas.
As we look optimistically ahead, we cannot just allow ourselves to return to our lives and workplaces and go back to the many bad habits we had, we now have the impetus to change for good and help to allow the earth to restore itself.
That is why AIM has been working hard to reduce our carbon footprint, utilise chemical-free cleaning systems and trial green innovation that will help our clients as well as ourselves to protect our planet now and for the future.
This year’s theme is Restore Our Earth, which focuses on natural processes, new green innovations, and different thinking that can help in restoring the world’s ecosystems. It is down to all of us to play our part because we all call planet Earth home. A healthy planet is not a choice — it is a necessity.
