AIM Commercial Cleaning recognises the importance and need for the development of operational practices that will have a positive impact on the environment and reduce the effect that we have on it.
In line with this we recently made the decision to produce a new uniform range and we set our procurement team the challenge of making it 100% sustainable.
The wait is finally over, and we are really pleased to officially launch our new uniform!
Not only did our team manage to produce a fully sustainable range, but they also came up with a fresh sporty new look and feel to the uniform and we are really pleased with the results.
Below are just some of the main sustainable elements of our new range:
Organic cotton has a less harmful impact on the environment as is grown naturally and without using harmful chemicals/pesticides. Organic cotton is also renewable, biodegradable and is breathable and more comfortable to work in. Find out more: https://textileexchange.org/
Post-consumer recycled plastic bottles are shredded down into flakes, turned into fibres and then spun into fabrics that create the jackets and fleeces of our new range. All of this means that the equivalent of 35 1-litre plastic bottles are saved from landfill and turned into every fleece and we think that this is great.
So far Result as a brand has saved over 5 million 1-litre bottles from landfill and the number rises each day. These garments are also fully recyclable meaning once it is no longer needed it can be upcycled preventing it from going back to landfill. Find out more: https://resultrecycled.com/
